Loose Reins wins Bronze at the National VisitEngland Tourism Excellence Awards 2018!

Yesterday, we attended a fantastic awards ceremony at the Bath Assembly Rooms for the VisitEngland Awards for Excellence 2018. These are the Oscars of the tourism industry and so we were over the moon to have made it to the final of the New Tourism Business category and to be one of two businesses representing Dorset!
Loose Reins named as one of the top three New Tourism Businesses in the country!

The finalists have been announced for the VisitEngland Excellence Awards 2018 and we are thrilled that Loose Reins has been named as one of three finalists in the 'Best New Tourism Business' category! These are the Oscars of the tourism industry and so we are delighted to have made it to the final three! It will be revealed at the awards ceremony in Bath on 23rd April whether we have won the Gold, Silver or Bronze award.

The Best Sporting and Leisure Experience in the South West!

What a fantastic night for Loose Reins at the South West Tourism Awards! We are absolutely thrilled to have won GOLD in the Sporting and Leisure Experience of the Year and BRONZE in Glamping and Alternate Accommodation of the Year! We had an incredible night and are over the moon to have been successful in some very tough categories! Huge congratulations to all of our fellow winners and a massive thank you to all of the judges, sponsors and organisers!

At the beginning of January, we welcomed Hayley Rubbery, the editor of lifestyle blog ‘Frock Me I’m Famous’ to Loose Reins country. She spent the weekend in one of our cosy cedar cabins and exploring our stunning surroundings. She visited fantastic restaurants, picturesque towns and all of our favourite local spots. What a year we've had in Loose Reins country... We are thrilled to have been named the Best Sporting and Active Experience in Dorset, the Best Glamping and Alternative Accommodation in Dorset and the 'Winner of Winners' at the Dorset Tourism Awards! Half term adventures at Loose Reins!

It’s been a fantastic half term down in Loose Reins country; filled with new and familiar faces. We’ve had families from Manchester to Cornwall and some as local as Poole! The Crabb family have been back for their eighth – yes eighth – stay in two years (they really do deserve a prize of some sort). We love seeing our returning guests and it really is great watching them sink back into the Loose Reins way of life.

We are absolutely thrilled to have been successful in two very strong categories. Now we just have to keep our fingers crossed for the awards ceremony in November!
