Half term adventures at Loose Reins!
It’s been a fantastic half term down in Loose Reins country; filled with new and familiar faces. We’ve had families from Manchester to Cornwall and some as local as Poole! The Crabb family have been back for their eighth – yes eighth – stay in two years (they really do deserve a prize of some sort). We love seeing our returning guests and it really is great watching them sink back into the Loose Reins way of life.
I think the highlight of the week had to be the Halloween festivities on Saturday. We had apple bobbing for both horse and rider (Scout now regularly checks his water bucket for treats), costume competitions with ‘Scare Queens’ and witches, and of course a spooky trail course in the arena where families went head to head in speed, style and who has the most competitive dad… The week then ended on a high with a Halloween styled cook out in the Hitching Post for guests, regular riders and our fabulous team.
We’ve had a fantastic season and it certainly has been our busiest yet. Bookings are already flooding in for next year so don’t forget to book your spot soon! And remember, our cosy cabins stay open all year round so if you fancy a last minute escape from reality – you know where to go.
